Course Outline:
Physical and Practical Requirements
Includes essential hands-on training and assessment components.
Students must be physically capable of:
- Performing uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor for at least two minutes.
- Demonstrating first aid techniques, including bandaging, using EpiPens, asthma inhalers, and participating in simulated scenarios requiring kneeling, bending, and applying pressure.
Delivery:
- Pre-course online learning, comprising of approximately 4 hours self-paced learning and,
- One 5 hour Face-to-Face classroom session (mix of practical and theory)
Upon successful completion of all course requirements, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, incorporating HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

This course includes mandatory physical components that require students to demonstrate competency in real-time CPR.
Students must be physically capable of:
- Performing uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor for at least two minutes.
- Participate in physical role-plays and simulated emergency scenarios involving bending, kneeling, and applying pressure with hands and arms.
Delivery:
- Pre-course online learning, comprising of approximately 2 hours self-paced learning, and
- One 90 minute Face-to-Face classroom session (mix of practical and theory)
Upon successful completion of all course requirements, of all course requirements, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
